I can't believe its been so long since I have written a post!
I have, again, lost my way and I am looking at getting back on track again! I will using my blog a lot more again as it does help me focus! For the last couple of weeks I have been writing a daily diary with the intention of loading it on here, but I am finding some of the things I am writing to personnel and sensitive for me to write on here, but I will have it to read and reflect on! I also need to get in the habit of taking food pictures as a remainder of what I have eaten to!

Track food, through pictures and My Fitness Pal
Keep my daily diary up.
Get to 3stone weight loss for Xmas, that's one stone and 2lbs
Loose a further 5 Stone for 02.6.2014 as last weigh in before Take That Concert! (Aim for 3lb per week!)
Last night we did have a night out for his Royal Highness's birthday and though the food was more or less on plan, I had plenty to eat!
Well that's it for tonight, need bath and bed!

Im so going to loose that weight!
Sorry there have been no blog posts for the last couple of nights, but I didn't really have a lot to say!
Since my weigh in on the 30.12.2013 I have lost 2.5lbs, not quite the 4lbs I wanted, but I need to curb my syns! To many syns meant not as much of a weight loss that I wanted! I am aiming for 4lbs again this week and I and going to get that 16lbs of by 04.02.2014!
Works been quite stressful today I was going to go to the pool for a swim afterwards to work it of, but was so tired I came home instead! I don't believe exercise helps if you are worn out and you could end up hurting yourself and therefore it won't help me carry on with my journey!
I am also back on track with meal planning and loving my trusted shopping lists!
One of my other goals for January is to do more studying and reading on things to do with nutrition, dieting, weight loos, NLP and psychology etc Loving this to and it also means I am doing something else instead of eating :)

What a Day!
Today was a bit of a bit of a mixed bag. I overslept this morning and finally woke up at 10.45am, very late for me and my plan was that I was supposed to have been to the gym and be currently in the pool. I was obviously tired! Was angry with myself at first, but then I realised I must have needed the sleep! Oh well. I then decided to give the gym a miss and went for a swim instead!
I got home and started studying for my NLP course, while the better half started lunch. Lunch was served at 16.30! WTF? A 20 min meal taking over a hour and a half!
Breakfast before the pool was a heavily laden fruit smoothie and bacon roll, the very late lunch was a smoked haddock potato cake (which I had to syn at 5.5 syns per portions as I already had both my healthy extra a and b....no syns if these weren't already consumed!) and it was served with a salad. Dinner was Pave (type of cut) of Wild Fallow Deer, with cabbage and leeks. Lovely!
I have had since lots of wine and cake (evenings are a trigger point for me to fail). i have just realised I use food to help me relax (as well as wine and Vodka)! Now time to change this behaviour, which I hoping I can with help from my NLP course.

I need to call myself Blondie!!
What a fab day I have had so far! But so totally on the Slimming World Plan food wise today!
Breakfast: was a smoothie (made enough for 2 and the better half had the other half), filled with redcurrant, blackcurrant, blackberries, grapes, a banana, a Muller light and some skimmed milk out of my allowance. 1 syn as fruit was pureed! This was followed by a bacon sandwich (bread from allowance), no syns as no sauces or spreads!
Lunch: none as I wasn't hungry
Snack: Quality Street X 1 allowed 2.5 syns
Dinner: Roast Partridge (no oil), sweet potato and potato mash, lots of leeks, carrots and broccoli and a rum (2.5 syns) and a diet coke
Good day elsewhere to, the reason I wasn't hungry at lunch is that I had gone for a acupuncture session at 11am. I was nervous and apprehensive about going so didn't really enjoy the session and I am not convinced that it will help with my journey, but I brought 3 as part of a Groupon so I will go for all 3. I had also taken the bus into town, so it meant more walking, so more exercise! On the way back I met the better half at the butchers and started our shop and the drove to Waitrose to finish it off!
Back home I went straight to the gym and had to go at 1.30pm so I could have a Gym and a pool session before the pool closes at 4pm. I got to the gym and had my blond moment, hence the name for today's entry. I still did my gym workout and did wait and toning exercises today and no CV, as this is what I already planned. My CV wok should have been my swim! I was so angry at myself, but I wasn going to waste time and petrol driving back! But some good news I new my new Jillian Michael's DVDs had arrived at the Amazon Locker in one of the local Co-op's so I picked that up the way home.
When I got home I did the housework (more exercise!) and then did about 20 minutes on one of workouts on one of the DVDs. I did struggle with it after being to the gym, so I stopped and cooled down instead!
Then I had my lovely dinner and just of to have nice soak in the bath and then of for a few drinks with friends at the local pub.

Exercise Day!
I had half day at work today, so I decided to spend the afternoon in gym. I spent 95 minutes there today and I started doing week one of Couch to 5K and got about half way through! Made me feel fab! I think I could have finished it, but I had decided to go swimming afterwards and managed 45 minutes in the pool swimming 40 lengths!
Food day, I could have been better, I woke up tired as I had slept well last night and had struggled to get to sleep, so I spent 27 syns on Go-ahead bars! I also had a Game Hamper pack delivered today which was a Xmas pressies from mum and dad. For ease we had the Venison sausages ( I am guessing at six syns each and weren't made out off what I call processed meat) for dinner, served with potato and sweet potato mash, spinach and carrots! The reset will be eaten over the next couple of nights and are joints of meat so definitely on plan!
I am so excited by what I have achieved by my exercise that I am not worried that I have gone over my syn allowance today and the last couple of days. I am so looking forward to going to the gym etc tomorrow now! I have also got booked some acupuncture and a massage booked tomorrow, the first of three session purchased through Groupon! I hope this may help!!???!!

6 and half pounds over Xmas week!
Weigh-in for slimming world for last two weeks have been on Monday due to the Christmas holidays! 23/12/2013 I lost 0.5lbs and on 30/12/2013 I had put on 6 and half lbs!
Am I upset? No, why would I be! I had a fab Xmas and stuck to plan where I could. Meet up with friends lots in the put, had lots of Christmas cake, mince pies and Christmas pud! Yum, Yum , YUM!
New Years Eve, I new I was going out, o all day was sticking to the slimming world plan and the night spent drinking! Then back onto plan yesterday and tracking everything that I eat and eating loads of super free!
I have also thought about what I really want to achieve and by weight in on the 04/02/2014 I will have wanted to have lost 16lbs. How am I going to achieve this? Every day at work spend 30 mins of my lunch hour walking and then also do some other form of exercise daily.
I am also going to carry on meal planning and keep a daily food diary, showing the good, the bad and the ugly! I have also heard it is good to try and keep a mood diary to, I am trying this to! Why? I am a comfort and emotional eater/drinker, so by trying to think about how I feel before I eat, its worth a shot and I'm also hoping it will help me decide whether I am hungry or thirsty. I have also got to learn not to be so hard on myself as this doesn't affect my journey to! I need to relax and enjoy, as well as enjoying and trying new recipes!
I have also got lots of bottles of water in the car, as I am also aiming to drink more as I don't drink enough water, but drink to much coffee at work! I do also drink a lot of diet coke, while this is free on the slimming world plan, I believes it does affect my journey and makes me want to eat sugar laden foods more. I have noticed that without thinking over the last couple of days by increasing my water intake I haven't felt the need to have diet coke! I love this side effect!

wow, Wow, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Considering I haven't been well and have struggled with my journey. When I say struggled, I have been comfort eating and binging due to not being well. I have planned my meals and have eaten them but not really enjoyed. I have also not been up to going to the gym or swimming as I have struggled with exercise. I have tried to walk and not quite managing, again, to do what I wanted!
So bearing in mind the above, I was apprehensive about weigh-in tonight and had to make myself go. I was shocked, amazed and astounded to have lost 3lbs this week! Just what I needed. So I am letting myself enjoy the evening by having a glass of wine or 2!
Breakfast was fruit, yogurt and a bacon roll. Lunch was a carrot and coriander wrap with broccoli and runners. Drinks throughout the day was coffee (using milk) and fruit tea. Dinner was more Cowboy pie with courgettes, carrots and leeks! So fab day for super free. I have indulged in a bit of chocolate and of course the wine.
So for another big loss this week I need to stay on plan!

So bearing in mind the above, I was apprehensive about weigh-in tonight and had to make myself go. I was shocked, amazed and astounded to have lost 3lbs this week! Just what I needed. So I am letting myself enjoy the evening by having a glass of wine or 2!
